Bonfire Night 2014
"Remember Remember the 5th November, Gunpowder, Treason & Plot..."
Come and celebrate Bonfire Night with us on FRIDAY 7th November 2014.
Our annual Beach Bonfire will be lit again at 7pm on Friday 7th November 2014 & the boys will be setting off some spectacular Fireworks soon after.
Wrap up warm and enjoy this spectacle whilst sampling fabulous food and drinks - perhaps a good time to try our Pumpkin Menu?
It promises to be an explosive night - Remember we light the touch paper at 7pm, don't be late!!
After the Fireworks we have some great entertainment lined up too so no need to rush home as it's not a school night either!
On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th we are also planning some entertainment as well as other cultural activities including Gaelic Lessons as a tribute to James of the Glen - the famous character also known as the Red Fox James Stewart of Appin who was wrongly hung for the murder of Colin Campbell, nicknamed the "Red Fox". The Red Fox was shot and killed near Hunter's Lodge at Lettermore by Kentallen (A forest walk takes you to the Cairn). James had an alibi, but was arrested, tried and hung for the murder in 8th November 1752.
More details to be unveiled over the next few weeks...watch this space!
